Product Description
'Salami' VDM8 valve assembly for direct driven anchor winch complete with push-pull Handle and 'Float Spool' fits various Kolstrand products such as the current design 12", 14" 16" and 18" series of aluminum anchor winches. This Valve has the control valve body protected with a Zinc/Nickel-Coating, and is furnished with the aluminum control lever box, for extended use in the marine environment.
Valve assembly allows the anchor Winch to 'Free-Spool' when the handle is moved and positioned past the 'Pay-out' position. Valve spool will stay in the selected 'Float' position as the spool is dented in this selected position. Otherwise, the spool is 'Spring-centered' to neutral position if being used in either 'Haul-In' or 'Pay-out' positions.
Valve assembly 'push-pull' Handle gives the spool good throttling response and the valve is equipped with a work port relief cartridge to protect your system from over-pressurizing.
Valve Body has JIC O-Ring treaded ports for leak-proof and easy installation.
