Stainless steel Gurdy davit manufactured by Kolstrand is the perfect davit to use for the Kolstrand power gurdy, reduction or single-speed hand gurdy, or the Standard Nylon Hand gurdy.
Davit comes complete with pre-installed stainless steel U-bolt with stainless steel locking nuts, ready for you to hang your nylon lead block.
NOTE: Nylon Blocks and Davit Sockets ARE NOT INCLUDED WITH THE DAVIT, and must be ordered separately
Standard davit is made out of marine grade schedule 40 stainless steel 1 In pipe (Measures 1 3/8 In Outside Diameter.) And we now offer the Davit in a stronger Schedule 80 Stainless Steel material as an option.
Standard davit is approximately 7 Foot in overall length, with a 15 Inch Reach, and when installed is about 5 3/4 Feet Tall. Special Lengths and Offsets are available on special order.
Kolstrand gurdy davits must ship via 'Truck Freight', and cannot be shipped by UPS.
Please Note: Any davit to be installed into the vessel must always be of adequate strength to handle not only the weight of the line Hauler or gurdy, but the total Intended hauling load. If in doubt, please consult with us or your naval architect for additional guidance.
