Replacement Parts Alert: This Kolstrand brake pad Linings Kit is used to restore 'Older-style' riveted linings to either the brake Shoes or Gurdy Plates. The Linings are NOT DRILLED and Installing the older-style Linings require the customer to drill and counter-sink the lining material to match the existing rivet holes in the customer's worn shoes or Gurdy Plate. You will need the OPTIONAL Install Kit to help 'Drill and Counter-sink' the Un-drilled linings prior to riveting the lining to your Brake Shoe (or older designed Reduction Gurdy Plate).
Kolstrand Replacement Linings with Rivets Kit is used to restore the Brake Capacity on your Nylon Multi-spool Gurdy (or Older-designed Reduction Hand Gurdy).
Each Kit consists of (2) Precision-Cut Linings with Rivets to secure the linings to your Brake Shoe, enough to do ONE SPOOL.
