The KRD gearbox is a small, compact and lightweight unit, but gives your gillnet drum ease of operation in all conditions.
Drum speed can be controlled from 0 to maximum RPM by a single control valve. Free-spooling is accomplished by dis-engaging the internal clutch, and by using the positive internal hand brake, the drum pay-out speed is controlled.
KRD gearbox comes complete with a 5:1 gear ratio, and is 'ready-made' to accept the proven 2-bolt Mount Charlyn 'H' motor.
This KRD gearbox will replace your older-designed KEM KRD gearbox but may only be used with a 2" diameter KRD splined shaft.
