THE BEST: These are the best sheaves for my use that I can find.

Remember the old meat line poles that were made in the 50's and later ? Well I've got 6 of them made up 4 of them with original Graham reels the other 2 with Alveys. Snubbers are used on the line, and to get the snubbers on the reel they need big guides so I use Kolstrand 3" sheaves to replace the smaller guides. Not my invention. I've seen it before. I have found that meat line rigs catch more salmon than downriggers. It's all I use anymore and it gives me great pleasure to bring the old time tackle back to life and use it rather than hanging it on the wall. I know the Kolstrand 3" sheaves have been around a long time, thank you for still making them, they are perfect for my application. Bob
