Features
- Winch is equipped with AK gearbox that has an internal clutch (that allows the drum to be dis-engaged and to free-wheel) and an internal brake (to control the free-wheeling drum)
- Winch was manufactured with the flip-style level wind, to allow customer to rotate the level wind out of the way, to allow the line to pay-out off the drum un-obstructed
- Winch comes standard and equipped with a precision machined diamond screw level wind for spooling of the line onto the drum (in a Cross-hatch pattern to prevent line snagging issues under load)
- Aluminum drum measuring 24" diameter flanges X 24" between the flanges X 8" diameter core
- Line storage capacity: 1,600 Feet 1/2" diameter rope with 2” of drum flange showing when spooled onto the drum
- Equipped with RE29 hydraulic motor
- Drum will rotate 25 RPM when 16 GPM is delivered to winch hydraulic motor
- Winch equipped with manual-operated locking dog and drum dog-ratchet
- Winch is designed to be 'bolt-down style' with mounting holes provided in winch housing

Kolstrand special aluminum winch with flip-style diamond screw level wind was designed for a customer who needed to use 1/2" synthetic line, and wanted the winch to be able to free-wheel with brake control while paying-out the line.
