- This winch was manufactured with a larger 6-5/8" Diameter Drum Core with Access Plate and 'Slip-Ring' provision
- The Drum measures 16" Diameter Flanges X 14-3/8" Between the Flanges X 6-5/8" Diameter Core
- The winch is also available with a smaller diameter Drum Core (4-1/2") should you not need the Slip Ring provision
- Winch Drum is supported on both sides by large Bronze Support Bearings
- Drum sized to Store 1,000 Feet of 1/4" Diameter Synthetic Line or cable
- The winch comes standard and equipped with a precision machined Diamond Screw Level Wind for precise spooling of the cable onto the drum
- The Load-holding Automatic-set Hydraulic Brake Assembly (stacked between the Hydraulic Motor and the Winch Frame) is sized to hold the strongest towing loads, and will automatically release, or set and hold your load, while the winch is being operated
- Winch is equipped with White Hydraulic RE350 (21.3Cube) Direct Coupled Hydraulic Motor, and the Drum will rotate under loaded conditions 125 RPM when 12 GPM @ 2000 PSI is delivered to Hydraulic Motor
- Winch Hydraulic Brake Assembly designed to hold 1,395 Lb. Bare Drum Load without creeping of the drum for 10 Minutes
- Winch is equipped with Automatic Diamond Screw Level Wind
- Winch is designed to be 'Bolt-down Style' with Mounting Holes provided in Winch Mounting Feet

The displayed Kolstrand Special Aluminum Winch with Diamond Screw Level Wind was designed for a customer who needed to use 1/4" Diameter Electro-Mechanical Cable to have his 'Fish/Sensor' communicate with his electronic equipment on deck. Winch Sides and Drum are manufactured out of Marine Grade Stainless Steel.
